The gun of the month for review is the year old Glock 42. This is in my opinion probably the best .380 subcompact gun that I have ever shot. It weighs in at just under a pound unloaded, and has the factory installed 5.5# trigger that many of us really like for consistency. It holds 6 plus one in the chamber, and if your running Hornady XTP Critical Defense 90 gr it seems to like those best as was the best group that I shot at less than half an each at ten yards. Also, I found that the recoil management was a heck of a lot better than my current backup gun the Ruger LCP. The verdict is in! I’m trading my Ruger LCP in for the new 42! Come down to the Range 702 and shoot these guns and see for yourself!
