1-on-1 Firearm Training
Restrictions: Nevada Residents only and must have valid Nevada Identification to attend the course
Duration: 45 to 60 minutes
What You’ll Need to Bring:
- Credit/Debit card used to purchase your 1-on-1 class
- Valid government-issued ID showing Nevada State Residency
- Copy of your confirmation email (digital is ok)
- Your gun and/or holster (optional)

Our 1-on-1 instructors specialize in working with new shooters and first-time visitors to The Range 702. We’ll start from the beginning to give you a firm foundation in firearm training, safety and handling. That way, you can fully enjoy any shooting experience that follows. If you have little experience with firearms and shooting, this is the class for you!

Requirements To Shoot:
- Sober; alcohol or drugs are strictly prohibited. Anyone believed to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs will be refused the use of the range.
- Not pregnant.
- Mentally stable.
- Minors must be at least 10 years of age to shoot. Minors under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times.
- Must have a valid government-approved ID with you on the day of shooting.
- All reservations are non-refundable but are fully transferable for up to one year from the reservation date.
Bring Your Own Gun or Rent One From Our Vault
If you have your own gun and want to become more familiar with using it, please make sure to bring it to your 1-on-1 session. If you don’t, you can rent one from our vault for the range portion of this class. If you are new to firearms, it may be a good idea to rent several different handguns to try.

1-on-1 Firearms Training – Frequently Asked Questions
Is this the right class for me if I’ve never shot a gun before?
Yes! This class is made specifically for beginners or less-experienced shooters. We will go over the essentials of firearms safety and etiquette that will set you up for more advanced classes or shooting experiences in the future. Our instructors specialize in working with first-time shooters and welcome all levels of experience.
How long will the class take?
The class will only take 45-60 minutes as we go over the basics of what you need to know before shooting on your own. It involves some classroom time as well as time on the range, so you get the most out of your session.
What if I don’t have my own gun?
Bringing your own gun to this class is optional. If you don’t have a firearm, the gun vault at The Range 702 has a variety of pistols for rent that are perfect for inexperienced shooters. You can always speak to one of our knowledgeable instructors for suggestions on which handgun you should start with and what might work best.
Do I need to bring my own safety equipment?
No, you do not need to worry about bringing your own safety equipment to this class. The Range 702 has ear protection, eye protection, and whatever else you might need for your time on the range.
